Advisor to the Minister of Health and Social Welfare on Social Affairs

Ms. Erjeta Alhysa serves as Advisor to the Minister of Health and Social Welfare on Social Affairs.

🎓 EDUCATION

Ms. Alhysa holds a degree in History and Geography from the University of Tirana and a Professional Master’s Degree in Administrative Law from the European University of Tirana.

She is also certified by the School of Directors of Pre-University Education Institutions in educational institution management.

💼 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Alhysa has extensive experience in leadership, public administration, and education, having held various senior positions in public institutions throughout her career.

She has served as Director of the Tirana Education Office and the Durrës Education Office, Director of the Infant Care Home in Tirana, and Deputy Head of the Ndroq Commune. She has also served as a Member of the Parliament of Albania.

She began her professional career in education, where she worked for many years as a teacher and in leadership roles within educational institutions.

⚖️ PROFESSIONAL CONTRIBUTION

Her professional experience encompasses institutional leadership and management, public administration, social policies, gender equality, and inter-institutional cooperation.

She has experience in promoting equal gender representation, particularly in rural areas, as well as in leading and administering institutions that provide services to communities and vulnerable groups.

Her main areas of professional engagement include social policies, public administration, institutional leadership, gender equality, and inter-institutional cooperation.

Ms. Alhysa has a very good command of English and a good command of Italian and Spanish.
